Calcarole is a terraced vineyard in Negrar, in the heart of the Classic Valpolicella. It is ideally located for the peculiar mild climate, the pebbly soil and the south-west exposure. Obtained from old vines, the grapes are harvested by hand only with an optimal degree of ripeness for subsequent drying, which takes place in boxes for a few months. Calcarole Amarone can be stored for several years in the bottle.
