The first year of production of the Clos Roareti, our selection of Merlot, was 2004. The grapes are harvested in the historic Rovereti vineyard in Negrar, in Valpolicella. In this vineyard, enclosed by centuries-old walls, since the late 90s we cultivate a Merlot that perfectly adapted to the climate and the red clay soil.

Destemming and pressing of the grapes. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Long post-fermentation maceration.
